NSFGA’s New Executive Director

NSFGA has hired Emily Lutz to be the next Executive Director of the organization. She has started in the office at Blair House and will be available on a full time basis to manage the day-to-day business of the NSFGA.

Emily grew up on Lutz Family Farm and her life has been steeped in agriculture. After getting degrees from both St. Thomas University and Acadia, she worked several jobs before becoming a municipal councillor. She has extensive experience in governance, advocacy, and leadership, and is looking forward to helping the tree fruit industry in Nova Scotia thrive.
