The Nova Scotia Fruit Growers’ Association represents the tree fruit growers of Nova Scotia.

Close to 95% of tree fruit production in Nova Scotia is apples, with the rest in pears, peaches, plums, and cherries.

Our mission is to support the continued growth and development of a sustainable tree fruit industry in Nova Scotia.

Save the date!

7:30 am - 6:00 pm

The Orchard Tour will begin at Noggins Farm in Greenwich, where participants will board the Valley Bulldogs Charter Bus and travel to the first two orchard stops. These sessions will feature discussions on irrigation systems, application methods and expansion opportunities, as well as soil health management.

A complimentary lunch will be provided, with gluten-free and vegetarian options available.

Following lunch, the tour will continue to two additional orchard sites, covering topics including G.41 rootstock performance, replanting and interplanting strategies, the New Zealand tie-down system, canopy structure management, and 7-wire training systems.

The tour will conclude back at Noggins Farm with a complimentary BBQ and dessert, along with an equipment display and networking opportunities.

Families are welcome to attend, and children are encouraged to join in the fun with plenty of space to play.

The Wink Stop will be in the orchard across from the Bragg Carrot Shop / 959 Steadman Road (See attached map).

There is a bin Yard located in the orchard for parking and Portable toilets will be there. Busses and cars should be able to drive right thru afterwards.
